Through action we can turn the “tide”.

The Beach Ambassadors are a committed group of local volunteers that model proper waste disposal, educate beach goers about the threats they pose to marine life, and remove litter from Amelia Island’s tidal zone Memorial Day through Labor day weekends.

Let’s talk about how our behaviors are killing the shorebirds and ocean’s inhabitants.

Marine life is dying due to ingesting and/or becoming entangled in our debris. THE OCEAN IS THEIR HOME. It should not be our dumpster.
